We want Café Coco to be part of the Long Island City community, and that means opening our doors to more than just coffee. LIC has a deep and evolving art history, and we’re proud to be a small part of it.
Our first event is a one-woman show of Simone Levy Greenwood’s work. Her paintings, full of color and optimism, feel very much in line with the spirit we hope to create here.

About Simone Levy Greenwood
Simone Levy Greenwood was a French-born painter whose work is known for its warmth, color, and sense of optimism. After studying art in France, she eventually made her way to New York, where her style continued to evolve.
Her paintings, often built in rich layers of color and texture, feel both expressive and deeply personal. There’s a sense of light and hope in her work that feels timeless, and very much alive.
