The Story of Café Coco
Crafting exceptional coffee experiences
About Jacob "Coco" Sebag
Long before Café Coco, Jacob “Coco” Sebag opened Le Triomphe in the very same location, a French restaurant known for its classic dishes, good wine, and a dining room that was always full of life. It set the tone early on: food that mattered, and a space people wanted to be in.
In the years that followed, Jacob built a career as a New York attorney, with a few unexpected detours, including a role in The Interpreter, with a few close-ups along the way.
But the pull toward coffee, bread, and gathering people around a table never really went away.
Café Coco is a return to that. A café shaped by years of experience, but built on something simple. Good coffee, fresh bread, something sweet, something savory, and a room that feels welcoming from the moment you walk in.
It’s not complicated. It’s just done with care.
